Almost Home Boarding and Training is a locally owned small business specializing in animal boarding, doggie daycare, & grooming. We are looking for dependable individuals with a passion for animals to help with kennel operations and doggie daycare during the evening shift, which is 2-9pm and at least one weekend day
Duties include (but are not limited to) walking dogs, cleaning dog runs, cat condos, and overall facility; assisting with doggie daycare sessions and preparation, laundry, washing dishes, preparing meals, & caring for boarding dogs. Must be able and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes. Must have stamina, energy, be able to endure long periods of standing, walking, and loud noise, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be self-motivated, follow directions, policies and procedures, and have the ability to multitask. This position requires lots of daily walking and cleaning tasks.
Must have reliable transportation. Just like human hotels, our facility is staffed 365 days a year. This position will require working some weekend and holiday shifts.
