Duties
- Provide attentive care to dogs, including feeding, administering medications, and monitoring health status
- Engage dogs with positive reinforcement training, play sessions, and socialization activities to promote good behavior and mental stimulation
- Handle animal restraint safely during grooming, veterinary procedures, or cleaning routines
- Maintain clean and sanitized kennels, pet boarding areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Assist with pet boarding services by supervising outdoor playtime and ensuring animals are secure at all times
- Support pet owners through excellent customer service by answering questions and providing updates on their pets’ well-being
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as disinfecting cages, grooming stations, and outdoor areas to uphold facility standards
Requirements
- Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or kennel work demonstrating strong animal handling skills preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely through team lifting practices and perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Capable of performing cleaning duties related to pet care facility sanitization and maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Passion for animal care with an understanding of pet boarding procedures and pet care facility operations.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
