Summary
We are seeking a K-9 Care/Kennel Assistant professional to join our passionate team at Alpha K9 U. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of our canine guests while assisting with various pet care and training activities. Responsibilities
Handling daycare and boarding guests, including feeding, watering, and administering medications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kennel area.
Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
Ensure safe handling and restraint of animals during activities.
Assist with dog training sessions under the guidance of experienced trainers.
Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service and support.
Requirements
Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred.
Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients.
Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely.
Basic knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques is a plus.
Physical capability to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and active engagement with pets.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
