Full Job Description
The role of Pet Care Associate is a very important position at Memorial Crossing Pet Resort. The primary responsibilities include overseeing pet activities and ensuring a positive experience for pets under your care. You’ll need to follow safe handling procedures, interact with pets, and maintain a clean work area environment. Additionally, you’ll be expected to photograph pets to share with owners ( a very fun part of the job), create reports, and work collaboratively with others. Customer interaction is sometimes a part of your job. Your appearance must be neat and tidy and a positive attitude is essential! Good verbal communication skills are needed.
Key Requirements:
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to lift 40 lbs and stand or walk for up to eight hours.
Proficiency in using a computer system.
Experience handling pets, including dogs on leashes and cats.
Tolerance for exposure to pet-related elements such as dander and waste.
A professional demeanor at all times.

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
At least one year of animal care experience in facilities like boarding centers, vet clinics, or shelters. Pet CPR and behavior assessment talents are useful skills.

Pay: $11.00 – $12.00 per hour

On-call, holiday, and weekend availability is needed as we have pets 24/7!
Must be able to easily commute to and from business location in Oklahoma City, OK 73114.
This is an in-person role.
