We are actively seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!
This role’s primary responsibility will be to translate brand plans into sales strategies to drive sustainable, profitable growth. The Specialist will represent the priorities of sales through collaboration and engagement cross-functionally with brand, sales, finance, sourcing and regulatory. As a strategic partner to the sales/marketing teams, the Business Development Specialist must develop a deep understanding of what it takes to win in market!
As our Business Development Specialist, you’ll make an impact by:
Serving as primary point person for commercial team on new product launches and product transitions, coordinating timeline execution with sales, marketing, and S&OP teams.
Managing merchandising displays and retail programs to support respective categories.
Project managing through state gate process and lead presentation for channel led projects.
Analyzing reports to help identify gaps and product optimization opportunities as requested by Business Development Leads.
Assisting in development of new item forecasts and tracking progress towards distribution and sales goals in the market.
Organizing planning sessions across departments to ensure sales strategies and brand initiatives are well represented, including leading the 4YP joint forecasting process.
Coordinating and assisting in development of training materials to help maximize sales team product knowledge.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of CPG experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
Excellent team player and ability to work cross-functionally.
Effectively communicate in English, in both verbal and written forms.
