Compensation: $80–90K base + $32K OTE commissions (uncapped)

Total OTE: $112–$122K+

Position Overview

We are hiring a Business Development Manager who is relentlessly driven and thrives with autonomy to develop the Fort Worth territory. As the face of Peaceful Pets in your market, you’ll be on the road meeting with veterinary decision makers, delivering compelling sales presentations, and developing long-term relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Visit veterinary clinics across the Fort Worth region to introduce Peaceful Pets and build awareness
  • Deliver in-person sales presentations to veterinarians, practice managers, and decision-makers
  • Own your schedule and determine the most efficient ways to maximize each day through in-person and virtual outreach
  • Attend conferences, industry events, association meetings, and community gatherings to develop new relationships
  • Attend, support, and help set up Peaceful Pets’ signature events – often hosted at our 60 acre ranch with lemurs and other exotics
  • Continuously look for new ways to deepen partnerships and foster community engagement
  • Provide weekly statistics and meet with leadership to strategize growth
  • Track all sales activity, notes, pipeline stages, and follow-ups in our CRM
  • This role does not include account management; we like our Business Development Managers as much as humanly possible

Who You Are

Required

  • Outside B2B sales experience
  • Proven track record of career accomplishments and accolades – and can verify those results
  • Highly self-motivated, accountable, and driven to win
  • High integrity and a deep passion for our customers

Preferred

  • Veterinary industry knowledge
  • Pre-existing veterinary relationships
  • A desire for leadership opportunities as the company grows
  • Experience working with a fast-changing privately owned, small business
