We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Officer to join our team.
Job Title: Business Development Officer
2. Reports to: Business Development Manager
3. Purpose: Guiding the organization’s activities, identifying opportunities
4. Responsibilities:
- Building solid relationships with customers, vendors and sales and marketing teams.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research and suggesting strategies to expand market.
- Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
- Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
- Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company.
- Researching new markets and emerging market trends.
- Recommending new partnerships.
- Formulating and implementing an account management plan to ensure that business relations are properly maintained.
- Collecting and using market information.
- Continually learning about the company’s services.
- Overseeing , preparing and participating for international tender
- Assist in sourcing of suppliers for international tenders
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Medicine or Veterinary Medicine
– Demonstrated experience in business development, management, sales, or marketing
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Language Skills
· Excellent command of English languages (both written and verbal)
Qualifications
– Candidates should possess strong New Business Development skills, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and relationship building.
– Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a working understanding of Finance to interpret market data, support pricing decisions, and evaluate business cases.
– Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or sales tracking tools.
– Ability to work independently, meet targets, and adapt to a dynamic market environment.
