Role includes:
- Daily picking and dispatch of frozen bovine semen.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation on all lab activity to include report preparation.
- Assist in maintaining semen inventory.
- Recordkeeping/data entry – receive all incoming stocks and record on stock control system.
- Supply inventory to management on regular basis or as required.
- Assist in quality control and maintain high level of cleanliness in the lab at all times.
- Collaborate with lab team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with breeding advisors on the ground.
- Fast thinker and multi-tasker.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory/dispatch environment desirable
- Knowledge of the Agri-Industry and interest in cattle breeding preferable.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Science or Agricultural qualification desirable but not necessary
- Work experience in stores/laboratory environment desirable but not necessary
- Full training will be provided
