Are you a Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon looking for an exciting locum opportunity? Join our dynamic team at the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC-MN). We’re looking for coverage from April to July, and we welcome applicants who can cover part or all of this period. Whether you’re available for a few weeks or the full duration, your support will be highly valued!
Role Title: Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon – Locum
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, flexible coverage options from April to July
Salary: $1000 per day, with a 25% commission for earnings exceeding $1000
The primary function of the AERC Veterinary Surgeon is to provide and recommend the highest standards of care to both existing patients of AERC and future referrals to AERC.
AERC handles a diverse range of cases, including soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and oncology cases, so experience or a willingness to work in these areas is essential.

Board Certification in AVMA recognized Surgical College
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A passion for delivering high-quality veterinary care
