Position: Board Certified Surgeon for Small Animals
Exciting role for a Board Certified Small Animal Surgeon located in Ottawa. Join a passionate team and practice advanced veterinary surgery in a state-of-the-art facility.
We are hiring a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained (Board Eligible) Small Animal Surgery Specialist for our advanced surgical team. In this role, you will evaluate surgical cases, perform complex procedures, and support a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will aid in the mentoring of technicians and improvement of hospital standards, making a direct impact on patient care and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients
• Perform and supervise surgeries for various cases
• Collaborate with other veterinary specialties
• Mentor and support surgical staff and technicians
• Improve surgical standards and protocol effectiveness
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Board-Certified or Board Eligible in Small Animal Surgery
• Experience supervising a surgical team
• English fluency; bilingual a plus
• Eligibility for Ontario licensure
