Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Freetown, covering responsibilities as a Blowing Machine Operator, Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator, and Store Manager. The role includes operating and monitoring blowing machinery for bottle production, performing routine checks, and ensuring safe, efficient machine performance. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating logistics and dispatch schedules, organizing deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records, and overseeing stock movement within the facility. The position also requires managing the store area, ensuring proper storage conditions, supervising loading and offloading activities, and collaborating with production and sales teams to meet demand. The team member will be expected to follow company safety and quality standards, support continuous improvement, and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Machine Operation and working with Machinery, including basic setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to ensure products meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams effectively.
- Candidates should possess the ability to safely use and manage basic Hand Tools as part of machine operation and routine maintenance.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or store management is highly beneficial.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills for inventory tracking and dispatch documentation.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Secondary school education or vocational training in a technical or logistics field is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and handle moderate physical tasks.
