Schedule: Part-time (evenings and weekends)

Hair of the Dog is a laid-back, dog-friendly bar where beer flows, tails wag, and people unwind. We serve only pre-canned beverages—no cocktails, no mixing, no mess. We’re more than a bar; we’re a social hub for dog lovers and their pups.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a fun, friendly, and responsible individual to join our team! This role combines light beverage service with community engagement, guest service, and basic park upkeep. You’ll be serving drinks, checking in pups and their people, managing memberships, and helping keep the dog park safe and clean.
Responsibilities:
Serve canned beer and other beverages (no cocktails or kegs)
Ensure guests meet age requirements and follow alcohol service laws (TIPS certification required)
Greet guests, assist with dog park check-in, and process memberships
Collect and process payments for memberships and drinks
Monitor dog park activity to ensure safety and respectful behavior
Interact positively with people and their pets
Pick up waste, refill water stations, and keep the park and bar areas tidy
Help create a fun, welcoming environment for all visitors—two- and four-legged alike!
Requirements:
Must be TIPS certified (or willing to become certified before starting)
Comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes
Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented
Able to work evenings and weekends
Physically able to be on your feet and perform light cleaning tasks
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
