Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Barman for Rainbow Tourism Group, and the successful candidate will be based in the Food and Beverages Department at Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel.
The position reports to the Food and Beverages Supervisor.
Responsibilities Include
- Preparing and serving beverages in accordance with established standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through service excellence, suggestive selling, upselling, and cross-selling to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
- Monitor bar stock levels and replenish supplies as required.
- Ensure accurate billing and collect payments from guests in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety within the bar area.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
Job Specifications
- National Diploma in Food and Beverage Service, Hospitality Management, or a related qualification .
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the Micros system will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to promote service excellence and build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
- Pleasant personality with a strong customer-focused approach.
