Harbor Town Animal Clinic, which is located in beautiful Vermilion, OH is seeking a PT/FT associate veterinarian to join our family. We are a 100% small animal clinic which serves Vermilion and it’s surrounding communities. We have a wonderful client base an an awesome staff. We are privately owned. Our practice is fully automated, utilizing EzyVet PM software with integration of a complete suite of IDEXX diagnostics.
Our clinic hours are 9-5 M-F and Sat 9-12. We refer all after hour emergencies to a local 24/7 referral clinic. You can enjoy practicing Vet medicine during the day and still make it home in time to have a nice relaxing evening!

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality veterinary care for small animals, including routine examinations and vaccinations.
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to develop treatment plans.
Perform general surgery.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper animal handling and restraint techniques.
Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay updated on veterinary terminology and advancements in animal physiology and anatomy.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
Proven veterinary experience with small animals
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary terminology
Proficient in animal handling and care, including dog handling and husbandry
Experience with veterinary critical care and animal restraint techniques
Familiarity with aseptic techniques, laboratory procedures, and pet grooming
