VCA Buckhead Animal Hospital, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.
VCA Buckhead Animal Hospital has been serving the local community for almost 40 years! We are an AAHA-accredited, progressive, and inclusive small animal hospital that values teamwork and collaboration.
Our well-equipped facility features five exam rooms, electronic medical records, ultrasound, surgical laser, digital radiographs, and dental radiographs.
A highly experienced and long-term support staff rounds out our team, ensuring you have the support you need to provide excellent care.
Atlanta offers a diverse range of activities, from world-class museums and theaters to scenic parks and hiking trails.
Attractions include Centennial Olympic Park, the Coca-Cola Museum, the Georgia Aquarium, and Piedmont Park.

Schedule
Our hospital offers a flexible schedule designed to support a healthy work-life balance.
Our doctors typically work a four-day workweek with rotating Saturdays and no after-hours or on-call responsibilities.
Cases
We are a full-service general practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care.
Our hospital is equipped to handle a wide variety of cases, including wellness exams, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and preventive care.
With advanced diagnostic tools such as ultrasound, digital radiographs, and a surgical laser, we are well-prepared to manage both routine and complex cases.

Compensation
Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The salary range listed is based on a 40-hour work week.
This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
Licensure in good standing to practice in (GA), or the ability to obtain
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
