Animal Care Center is seeking an exceptional Associate Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, small animal veterinary hospital. We provide a wide range of services, from routine vaccinations to advanced surgical procedures. This position is full-time, consisting of three ten-hour days with rotating Saturdays and weekdays.

Job Summary
The Associate DVM ensures a high quality of veterinary care, client service, employee well-being, and productivity of the veterinary medical team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure consistent, high-quality care and exceptional service.
Adhere to all Well Haven protocols and practices.
Collaborate with the Principal Doctor to establish development plans.
Practice veterinary medicine in compliance with relevant laws and maintain appropriate medical records.
Provide comprehensive client communication.
Participate in community events and hospital projects.
Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia, surgery, and current medical practices.
Advocate for exceptional client service and patient well-being.
Provide medical training to support staff.
Willingness to train and manage support staff.
Customer Service Delivery:
Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service.
Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
Effectively resolve customer complaints.
Other:
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Meet all OSHA standards as outlined in company policies.
Ability to perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Knowledge

Education and Experience
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
State Veterinary Board License.
Must be in good standing with the state(s) employed.
Current USDA Accreditation is a plus!
Work Location, Environment, and Physical Requirements
The Associate Doctor position is performed onsite at our hospital.
The hospital environment includes limited space, pet waste smells, and noise.
Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to lift 50+ pounds are required.
