Role Description
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care and treatment to a variety of animal species. Daily tasks may include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses and injuries, performing surgeries, and prescribing medications. Additionally, the Associate Veterinarian will collaborate with the veterinary team to develop treatment plans and educate clients on pet health andwellness.
Qualifications
Strong veterinary medical knowledge and skills
Experience in performing surgical procedures
Ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of animal illnesses and injuries
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills
Attention to detailand ability to work well under pressure
Experience with electronic medical records and veterinary software is a plus
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in West Virginia (or ability to obtain)
