Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), Saturday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM), Closed on Sundays
Cape Ann Veterinary Hospital, established in 1978, is a well-respected, full-service veterinary clinic dedicated to providing top-quality care for small animals in the Gloucester, MA area. We are looking to expand our team and invite passionate, skilled, and compassionate veterinarians to join our family-oriented practice.
Position Overview: As a Veterinarian at Cape Ann Veterinary Hospital, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and diagnostic care to our patients. You will work closely with our experienced team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure that every pet receives the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general veterinary care, including routine wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventive care.
Perform surgical procedures, such as spay and neuter, as well as other necessary surgeries.
Utilize diagnostic imaging, including digital radiography, to accurately diagnose and treat conditions.
Offer guidance to pet owners regarding nutrition, weight management, and other aspects of animal care.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Build strong relationships with pet owners through effective communication and compassion.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited veterinary college.
Valid state veterinary license (or ability to obtain one in Massachusetts).
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members.
Passion for providing high-quality veterinary care and building relationships with clients and pets.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $121,984.00 – $127,935.00 per year
