Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian at Elizabethtown Animal Hospital, located in Elizabethtown, KY. The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical, surgical, and preventative care services for a variety of companion animals. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, collaborating with veterinary technicians and staff, educating pet owners, and maintaining detailed medical records.
Qualifications
- Veterinary skills, including diagnostic assessments, surgery, and preventative care
- Strong communication skills for client education and collaboration with team members
- Dedication to providing compassionate care to pets and their owners
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities in a clinical environment
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- An active veterinary license in Kentucky or the ability to obtain one
- Experience or interest in small animal medicine and surgery is preferred
