Are you a dedicated and passionate veterinarian seeking to make a positive impact on the well-being of the animals under your care? We are a growing small animal veterinary hospital in search of skilled and compassionate veterinarians to join our team. We are hiring Part-time and/or Full-time veterinarians for our location in Central Kentucky.
Larue County Animal Clinic is committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care with a personalized approach. Situated in the heart of Kentucky our new hospital is known for its welcoming and amiable environment. Our location provides you with the aesthetic quaintness of small-town rural Kentucky while only being 15 minutes away from I-65 and the Western Kentucky Parkway and having numerous restaurants and shopping options.
We treat our patients like family, aiming to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
What We Offer
- State-of-the-art facilities (over 5000 square feet) and equipment, including ultrasonography, digital radiography, dental x-ray and In-House Lab.
- Minimal On-Call- (Established clients only)
• Additional compensation for after hour emergencies - Continuing education opportunities, including four days allocated to CE and a $1000 annual allowance
- Salary Package $80,000 -$120,000 commensurates with experience level
- Experience with small ruminants and exotics is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostics
- Provide preventive care and client education and community awareness
- Collaborate with our experienced team of veterinary professionals
- Must be able to work independently at times
Requirements
- DVM licensed in Kentucky – in good standing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A dedication to delivering exceptional care to pets, people and personalized care
- Technological background and marketing skills a plus
