Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our growing team across three thriving hospital locations—two in Long Island City and one in Manhattan’s Sutton area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and caring professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in general practice and surgery, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. You will work alongside talented veterinary technicians and support staff to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, perform routine and complex procedures, and educate pet owners about preventive and ongoing care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose animal health issues
Develop individualized treatment plans and administer medications, vaccines, and other therapies
Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures, including spays/neuters and soft tissue surgeries
Utilize in-house diagnostic tools and laboratory equipment to conduct tests and analyze results
Maintain accurate, thorough medical records for each patient
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and assistants during procedures and treatments
Stay current with best practices and innovations in veterinary medicine through continuing education
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in New York State
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures
Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
Familiarity with in-house lab diagnostics and veterinary imaging
USDA accreditation is a plus
Excellent communication and client education skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
