Our 100% privately owned (single owner) and AAHA accredited practice is looking for small animal veterinarians to fill positions at at our soon to newly rebuilt and expanded hospital in Jacksonville NC. Our new practice will be next door to our original hospital which has been in Jacksonville since 1950. We are fully rebuilding and upgrading from our old 2400 sq ft, 3-room clinic to a brand new 7000 sq ft, 7-exam room state of the art hospital.
We would like to onboard at least one new grad and one experienced doctor, but all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. We are primarily canine/feline only but allow each doctor to see a broader set of species based on their personal growth and interests.
Schedule
Our practice is open Monday – Friday 8am – 5:30pm. Doctors will typically only be required to work 4 full days but flexible schedules are available.
No weekend, after-hours, or emergency duty obligations.
Appointment-based (walk-ins/emergencies as approved by the attending dvm) with a 1-2 hour lunch scheduled for each doctor.
Surgeries & Dental Procedures
Surgeries & dental procedures are scheduled for mornings and usually conclude between 1-3pm. Not all doctors currently have surgery/dental hours and Dr. Thomas has a surgery and/or dental mentorship program available if needed or desired.
Practice Info
Surgery and dental suites with digital dental radiography, radio-surgery, a comprehensive in-house laboratory. Newly upgraded technology also includes digital xray, ultrasound, cryo-surgery, Seal & Cut MV1 vessel sealer. and more.
Compensation
Salary is based on experience and work schedules, typically varying from $125,000 to $155,000 with other forms of compensation such as production based bonuses and other flexible arrangements.
