Tyson Animal Hospital is a 2 doctor, progressive hospital located in Durham, NC. Our hospital was established in 2006 as a single doctor practice and has grown throughout the years to a practice that is bursting at the seams with opportunity. We are looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our family.
We hope to ease the stress of transitioning into a new job by offering a welcoming environment that can allow you to flourish. As a new vet, we understand you’ll have many questions, and we look forward to answering these. You will be given many opportunities to collaborate with other doctors to facilitate the improvement of your skills and knowledge as a veterinarian. While practicing here, you will be an integral part of decision-making regarding management of the clinic and your role within it. As an associate, we want you to be comfortable to practice what you believe and learn as you go. Most importantly we need to determine what we can do for each other and if it will be a good fit. Our clinic is known for the services offered which range from vaccines and every day care of pets to spay/neuter, orthopedic, and soft tissue surgeries, dentistry, ultrasound, and laser therapy, to mention only a few.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive minded candidate who is interested in learning the many things we do. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary package including bonus structure, CE stipend, PTO, Holiday pay and paid licenses, AVMA, AVMA Plit, NCVMA renewal, DEA license.

Experience:
– Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution
– State licensure to practice veterinary medicine
– Strong knowledge of veterinary practices, procedures, and techniques
– Experience in handling a variety of animals with care and compassion
– Proficiency in veterinary terminology and animal handling techniques
– Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively
