What You’ll Do
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll play a vital role in our hospital’s success by:
- Conducting thorough consultations and diagnostics
- Assisting in developing and implementing treatment and surgical protocols
- Performing routine and advanced surgeries
- Managing patient records and ensuring accurate client billing
- Providing post-operative care and follow-up
- Collaborating with the Medical Director and support staff on case reviews
- Supervising and mentoring veterinary technicians and assistants
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible for licensing in Winnipeg
- Strong clinical skills in medicine and surgery
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
