Erickson Veterinary Hospital is a 4 doctor, full-service progressive small animal hospital in Chico, California looking to add another doctor to the staff. We have been servicing Chico and the surrounding area since 1903.
While primarily a small animal practice, we also see exotics as well. We have a full in-house suite of Idexx diagnostic equipment, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, therapeutic laser, and ultrasound. We have an exceptional support staff that allows you to focus on your practice. Our goal is quality, community, and family. Our clients, staff, and doctors all have deep roots in the community. We strive to practice high quality medicine and surgery and help to achieve this thru client education. We believe in using mentorship and continuing education opportunities to help each team member to reach their full potential. We see 3rd and 4th generation clients on a regular basis! There would be no after hour emergency calls required. We are open Monday thru Saturday, closed Sundays.
Chico is located in beautiful Butte County in Northern California (about an hour North of Sacramento). It is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The city is the cultural, economic, and educational center of the northern Sacramento Valley and home to California State University Chico. Chico and its surrounding cities (Chico metropolitan area) make up around a quarter million people. There are excellent outdoor recreational opportunities (large parks, hiking, water sports, equestrian activities, biking). It is a family oriented community with clean air. There are lots of great restaurants and local breweries as well as proximity to Lassen NP, Pacific Crest Trail access and close to Tahoe ski areas.
