A modern, progressive partner hospital in Gastonia, NC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their close-knit team. This practice is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art veterinary care, including cold/therapy laser, ultrasound, and digital x-rays, all within a Fear-Free environment. The team is passionate about making a positive impact on both patients and the local community, offering a strong culture of collaboration, education, and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including surgeries, diagnostics, and routine care
Engage with clients and staff in a relationship-based approach to veterinary care
Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to provide the highest quality care
Build strong relationships with clients and the local Gastonia/Charlotte community
Participate in internal training programs to encourage staff development
Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries, appointments, and diagnostics during open hours
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
Active license in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina (or ability to obtain licensure)
Previous experience in a clinical setting, comfortable with a range of veterinary tasks including surgery, diagnostics, and patient care
A collaborative and compassionate team player, eager to contribute to a positive work environment
