A highly regarded partner hospital in Orlando, FL /Winter Haven, FL is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This multi-doctor practice, AAHA accredited and recently voted as one of America’s Best Animal Hospitals by Newsweek (2025), offers state-of-the-art facilities and an exceptional work environment. The hospital is equipped with 6 exam rooms, digital & dental radiographs, ultrasound, a surgical laser, and a dedicated surgery suite, providing cutting-edge diagnostic services and treatment options.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead with professionalism, trust, and respect in all aspects of veterinary care
Support the development of staff members through the company’s Level Up clinical training program
Promote the human-animal bond by providing outstanding client experiences
Manage multiple patients and varying priorities within allotted time frames
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
Prescribe medication and develop treatment plans
Conduct surgeries and dental procedures
Educate and communicate with clients about their pets’ health and well-being
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
Active license in good standing to practice in Florida (or the ability to obtain licensure)
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Comfort with performing a variety of tasks, including surgery, diagnostics, and patient care
