Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to dogs and cats
- Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, and medical treatments
- Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
- Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate recommendations clearly to clients
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care
- Participate in urgent and emergency care as needed
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school
- Active California veterinary license
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgeries independently
- Perform dental procedures, including extractions
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- General practice experience is a plus
