ArchVet Animal Hospital & Urgent Care is excited to bring a brand-new, privately owned veterinary hospital to the Fair Oaks community, with an anticipated opening in October/November 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to join our team from the very beginning and help shape the culture, medicine, and future of an exciting new hospital.

What You’ll Be Doing
Every day is different, but your responsibilities may include:
- Wellness and preventive care
- Internal medicine
- Urgent care cases
- Soft tissue surgery (based on experience)
- Dentistry
- Diagnostic workups
- Client education and communication
- Working closely with our technicians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
Most importantly, you’ll have the freedom to practice good medicine—not rush appointments or chase production numbers.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who is:
- Passionate about providing outstanding veterinary care
- Kind, compassionate, and enjoys working with people
- A collaborative team player
- Excited about helping build a new hospital
- Interested in continuing to learn and grow
Requirements include:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
- Eligible for California veterinary licensure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
New graduates are absolutely encouraged to apply. We enjoy mentoring newer doctors and helping them build confidence in surgery, medicine, diagnostics, and client communication.
