Position Overview
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care to patients while partnering with the veterinary team and pet owners to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive wellness examinations and medical evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment and preventative-care plans
- Perform routine surgical and dental procedures as appropriate
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and follow-up care to pet owners
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary program
- Active Texas veterinary license or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to excellent patient and client care
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply
