Love dogs? Don’t mind a little fur, slobber and the occasional zoomie. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking team player to join our team as a Kennel Assistant Manager. You’ll help keep our pups happy, healthy, and comfortable while providing an organized and healthy environment for all employees.
Kennel assistant manager
-Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
-Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets and teammates.
-Ensure proper sanitation is being completed throughout kennel
-Supervising back kennel to ensure all tasks are getting done in a timely manner
– Feeding at beginning of each shift making sure everyone gets what they should
-Rotate dogs into yards for techs while outside runs are being sanitized
– Night checks for extra pay
Requirements:
-Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as give and accept direction on given assignments.
-Organizational skills.
-Critical thinking – Understanding logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
-Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations.
-MUST enjoy working with both animals and people.
-MUST have at least a year of kennel expirence
-MUST have reliable transportation
Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
