Area Sales Representative – Veterinary Reproduction
This key role involves developing and expanding sales for VetMotl™, Inc., our veterinary fertility business, ensuring sales goals of the assigned territory are met and customer needs are satisfied. The territory will be determined based on the background, expertise and geography of the ideal candidate(s). Experience in the animal health and fertility space is preferred. Current sales focus is on equine, bovine and small ruminants.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and make sales calls to veterinary fertility clinics, breeding facilities and semen/straw processors.
Specifically, identify opportunities to represent and position VetMotl Sperm Separation Devices with commercial and academic clinics performing veterinary ART by providing technical assistance, training, and information dissemination with prospects and existing customers.
Effectively communicate to these professionals the various benefits of using our VetMotl devices in their practices, clinics and facilities.
Compile weekly and monthly sales and activity reports and submit them to management in a timely fashion; participate in monthly review meetings.
Develop, plan, and execute a business plan to obtain the sales and business goals and objectives within the assigned territory.
Successfully complete the training requirements for the products, procedures, and applications of those products.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time.
Qualifications:
Area of expertise: Veterinary ART, including IVF, ICSI, and AI. Advanced understanding of laboratory techniques, including sperm preparation for ART.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Two or more years of sales experience within the veterinary breeding environment.
Ideal candidate has established client relationships with veterinary fertility clinics and/or breeding facilities.
Andrology and/or embryology experience a plus.
