Architectural Project Manager – Municipal and Animal Care Design
Experience: 3–10 Years | Location: Fort Worth (near downtown) | Full-Time
Quorum Architects, Inc. is currently seeking a talented and driven Architectural Project Manager to join our growing Municipal and Animal Care Design Studios. This leadership position offers the opportunity to work on impactful and meaningful projects including public works administration, fleet maintenance, recreation centers, animal shelters and adoption centers, boarding facilities, and veterinary clinics.
This role provides a path for growth within the firm, working in an innovative, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment focused on delivering thoughtful design solutions that improve communities—and lives. We are looking for a project manager who has experience with establishing relationships with clients, managing project teams and budgets, developing proposals, and designing/producing construction documents. This position requires a professional who can guide projects from initial pursuit and programming through design construction administration and project closeout while remaining actively involved in project projection.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Client Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from proposal and pursuit through construction completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation efforts.
- Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and project coordination discussions.
- Monitor project progress and ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
Business Development & Proposals
- Participate in business development efforts and client relationship management.
- Lead and contribute to RFQ/RFP responses, fee proposals, interview presentations, and project pursuits.
- Support strategic growth initiatives within the Municipal and Animal Care Design Studio.
- Develop project scopes, staffing plans, and fee estimates.
Technical Production & Project Delivery
- Remain actively involved in the development of project drawings and documentation, dedicating approximately 50% or more of time to drawing production and technical execution.
- Prepare and oversee construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate project documentation with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and specialty consultants.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in construction administration services, including site observations, RFIs, submittals, and closeout activities.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program.
· Architectural licensure is preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will also be considered.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience managing architectural projects, preferably municipal, civic, public-sector, animal care, veterinary, or related facility types.
· Demonstrated experience leading projects from programming and design through construction administration and closeout.
· Experience preparing proposals, fee estimates, and responding to RFQs/RFPs.
· Strong client management, communication, and presentation skills.
· Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, construction detailing, and applicable building codes.
· Proven ability to produce and coordinate complete construction document packages.
· Strong organizational and leadership abilities with experience mentoring project teams.
· Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.
· Strong technical proficiency and attention to detail.

· Revit / AutoCAD, required
