Lead an expert team in arboriculture with the Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada. As a Foreperson, guide your crew in providing top-tier tree care services on-site in Carp and Ottawa.
In this full-time position, you will oversee a crew, ensuring efficient and safe operations across various job sites. With a focus on mentoring newer team members, you’ll enhance their understanding of the arboriculture profession. You’ll be the primary contact for clients, managing expectations and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and direct a crew in arboricultural services
• Supervise tool maintenance and safe operation
• Perform tree pruning and removal safely and skillfully
• Install tree bracing and lightning protection systems
• Manage customer service expectations and communication
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Arborist
• ISA certification or equivalent enrollment
• Valid driver’s license with 5-ton vehicle capability
• Strong tree identification skills required
• Ability to lift and handle 50 lbs safely
