Position: Aquarium Show Diver Role
Join the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada as an Aquarium Show Diver, bringing excitement and education to visitors through dynamic diving performances. Your skills will help promote marine conservation and audience engagement.
As a key member of the dive team, you will work under the Dive Operations Manager and the Director of Husbandry to create memorable experiences. In addition to performing shows, you will maintain safety standards, provide knowledge about marine exhibits, and assist with animal care duties. This role is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in engaging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform captivating dive shows while educating guests
• Adhere to safety guidelines from the Dive Safety Board
• Familiarize yourself with all animal exhibits
• Aid husbandry staff with tank cleaning and preparation
• Provide excellent customer service through public engagement
Requirements:
• Must be SCUBA certified (Rescue Diver or equivalent)
• Certification in First Aid and CPR required
• Dynamic personality with strong public speaking skills
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including holidays
• Passion for marine life and teamwork in a lively setting
