We’re looking for a confident, organized, and results-driven appointment setter to join a growing trucking insurance team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for researching and qualifying trucking carriers, conducting outbound calls, identifying potential insurance opportunities, and scheduling appointments with qualified prospects for insurance producers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze CAB reports to identify trucking carriers that match the agency’s target profile.
- Research carrier safety scores, violations, operating history, and other relevant information.
- Qualify prospective trucking carriers based on established criteria.
- Conduct outbound calls to introduce insurance services and establish relationships with potential clients.
- Engage prospects professionally and identify potential insurance needs and opportunities.
- Schedule qualified appointments with insurance producers.
- Conduct live transfers of qualified leads when required.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, prospect information, follow-ups, and appointments.
- Update lead activity and pipeline information in Momentum CRM or related CRM systems.
- Consistently follow up with prospects to maximize opportunities.
- Complete training on CAB analysis, lead qualification, and live-transfer procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in appointment setting, lead generation, telesales, insurance, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong verbal communication skills and confidence making outbound calls.
- Excellent research, organization, and attention to detail.
- Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate prospect records.
- A proactive, goal-oriented, and results-driven approach.
- Strong follow-up skills and the ability to consistently qualify and engage prospects.
- Comfortable working with data and conducting prospect research.
⭐ Preferred Experience
Experience in trucking, commercial insurance, logistics, transportation, or B2B sales is a strong advantage.
