Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cowboy to join our team at the feedlot. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and a strong understanding of feedlot operations. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall management and care of livestock, as well as maintaining the feedlot’s equipment and facilities.
Duties
Supervise and manage daily cattle activities, ensuring the well-being of all livestock.
Perform animal care tasks and monitoring health conditions.
Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members in equine handling and care practices.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge for effective equipment repair and maintenance.
Experience with animal care for cattle and horses.
