We are searching for dedicated individuals who wish to provide EXCEPTIONAL client service. Our brand of veterinary medicine is very much patient-centered and client-focused. Yes, our receptionists do get to “play” with puppies and kittens, but they also enjoy working with the other end of the leash-our wonderful clients! Essential duties and responsibilities:
· Answering phones and documenting calls as needed; relaying messages to doctors and management
· Knowledge of all services offered as well as canine and feline care and behavior to educate clients and other callers
· Scheduling appointments and surgeries
· Guiding clients and patients to exam rooms
· Ensuring all client personal information is correct
· Collecting payments
· Providing discharge instructions to clients
· Entering and completing recalls for doctors
· Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
· Light cleaning duties, including end of business day cleaning
In addition to an outgoing personality our receptionists should also:
· Have a strong attention to detail
· Be familiar with Windows-based software (Cornerstone proficiency is a plus)
· Have a core knowledge of preventive canine/feline health care (or a willingness to learn)
· Be able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
· Be able to deal with doctors, clients, and staff in a professional manner even under stressful situations
· Be able to handle animals with care, compassion, and competence even in difficult situations
· And enjoy working as a TEAM to meet the needs of our clients
The successful candidate will be a reliable self-starter who is motivated by a challenging, fast-paced environment. Candidate must also have a friendly demeanor toward both pets and people.

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
