Responsibilities
Perform daily animal husbandry duties such as health check, cage changing, and waste disposal.
Manage laboratory sanitation and environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature.
Assist in basic veterinary care for animals housed within the vivarium.
Oversee vivarium supplies and resources.
Provide support to rodent breeding colonies.
Maintain logs and research documentation in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of animal husbandry experience.
Technical experience with animal breeding, tissue sampling, harvesting, collection, and rodent mouse models.
HS Diploma or BS in biology-related field required.
American Association of Laboratory Animal Sciences certification at the ALAT level preferred.
