Description
Our compassionate leader supervises our pet guests and animal care staff. The Animal Care Manager oversees the daily operations of our boarding and doggy day camp areas in a hands-on manner.

Responsibilities
Manage care of boarding pets
Maximize occupancy through preplanning and yield management
Order food and supplies as needed
Perform basic repairs
Assist with cleaning, feeding, exercising duties, and group play/camp activities
Skills and Requirements
Supervise a diverse staff with various skill levels
Ability to multi-task and work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Work with a variety of dogs and cats
Good time management skills
Recognize pet health concerns
Understand basic business management principles
Handy with basic tools
Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds, walk stairs, stand, and walk for full shifts
Work in environments with pet dander, excretions, and cleaning chemicals
Experience in restaurant or retail management, hospitality, customer service, animal care, or veterinary fields is a plus
