Animal Care Assistant – Kennel Staff & Doggie Daycare Jobs in Wichita, KS at Indian Hills Animal Clinic
We are looking for Animal Care Assistants to add to our team! This position, otherwise referred to as an ACA, is responsible for taking care of our client’s pets while they are boarding in our facilities, playing in the Clubhouse with our daycare dogs, and helping with the general upkeep of the clinic. We are looking for candidates interested in furthering their animal knowledge including animal behavior and training techniques to name a few!
The right candidate is comfortable with:
FULL-TIME: 30-38 hrs/wk (weekdays and weekends).
The person in this position must have a flexible schedule with afternoon and weekend availability. Shifts will be scheduled between 6:30am – 7:00pm
Our requirements? You must have a true passion for caring for animals, love working with people (our jobs are 80% people, 20% pets), a good sense of humor (our teams are a bit crazy!) and don’t mind getting your hands dirty! This position is truly the backbone of any veterinary clinic. Without kennel staff, we wouldn’t be able to truly care for the patients in our hospital, keep our days flowing, and keep caught up on all the “other duties” required in a vet clinic!
