Our Services
We will offer a wide variety of Emergency Services, including maintaining the only overnight Emergency Hospital in the greater Rochester Area.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Feeds and waters animals according to feeding instructions and established schedules.
· Cleans and organizes animals’ living areas such as pens and cages
· Cleans and disinfects animal areas.
· Observes animals to identify signs of injury, illness, or disease.
· Provides general treatments for animals; contacts veterinarian for more advanced treatment.
· Maintains records of information such as weight, physical condition, diet, feeding schedule, and medications given.
· Restock supplies.
· Answers general questions from clients about the animals such as behavior.
· Takes phone calls and schedules appointments.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to work with animals and to remain calm in strenuous circumstances.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to follow instructions.
· Excellent time management skills.
· Ability to meet clients needs and provide necessary assistance.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to perform the physical duties of the job.
· Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds at a time.
