Eastern Iowa Pet Resort is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our morning kennel team.Hours can vary depending on how busy we are, but the typical morning shift is around 6:00 AM–11:00 AM.Responsibilities include:Letting boarding dogs outside and caring for them throughout the morningFeeding dogs and providing fresh waterGiving medications as instructedCleaning kennels, bedding, dishes, and dog messesKeeping boarding areas clean and organizedHelping with other tasks around the resort wherever neededThis is a physical, fast-paced position that involves a lot of cleaning, being on your feet, and working hands-on with dogs. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, works hard, takes initiative, and genuinely cares about providing great care for the dogs staying with us.Experience working with dogs is helpful, but dependability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are even more important.If you’re reliable, comfortable working around dogs of all sizes, and aren’t afraid of hard work, we’d love to hear from you.Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountOn-the-job trainingPaid trainingApplication Question(s):Are you reliably available to work shifts starting at 6:00 AM?Are you generally available to work until approximately 11:00 AM, with hours occasionally varying depending on how busy we are?This position involves cleaning dog kennels, picking up urine/feces/vomit, washing dishes and bedding, and other physically demanding cleaning tasks.
