Here’s what you’d do:
We’re currently seeking an Agronomic Technician with chemical fertilization or pesticide industry application experience to work at our golf courses. The ideal applicant will be a self-starter and have a stable work history.
You might be a good fit if you have:
Experience with chemical or spray applications
Post-secondary education in turf science or a related field
Must obtain and maintain a state-sanctioned pesticide applicator license within 6 months of employment
Maintain a valid Driver’s License
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
Strong attention to detail
Able to operate efficiently and safely at all times
Ability to prioritize daily work schedule with minimal supervision
Ability to perform other cultural applications on golf courses as needed, such as aerifications, seed application, and sand topdressing
Physical demands might include:
Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
Regular exposure to outdoor conditions including rain, cold, sun, or night
Repetitive movements like standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping
Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a benefit
