Job Description
This is a high-responsibility role for someone who can take initiative, manage systems, and ensure things get done. You will oversee adoptions while working closely with our kennel team to ensure animals are well cared for and successfully rehomed.
Important: This is not a junior or purely administrative role. We are looking for someone who will take ownership, solve problems, and drive results.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive and manage the full adoption process
- Identify animals to prioritise and work with marketing to promote them
- Develop and manage a foster programme
- Plan and coordinate adoption events
- Build partnerships with other shelters and rescue organisations
- Oversee kennel and cattery operations (in collaboration with the Kennel Manager)
- Maintain accurate records and reporting systems
Qualifications And Requirements
- Demonstrates strong initiative and proactively identifies and acts on tasks without requiring direction.
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Has strong communication and people skills
- Is comfortable with admin systems and computer work
- Can coordinate teams and ensure accountability
- Has experience in animal welfare or similar environments (advantageous)
