Role Description The Administrative Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Luxterra Eye Clinic in Woji.. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day administrative operations, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and coordinating communication between clinical staff and patients. The Administrative Officer greets and assists visitors, responds to phone and email inquiries, supports billing and payment processing, and ensures that front-desk and office workflows run smoothly. The role also involves preparing and organizing documents, maintaining office supplies, and supporting the implementation of clinic policies and procedures. The Administrative Officer collaborates with other team members to maintain a professional, respectful, and patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform General Administration tasks, including managing records, scheduling, and office workflows.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with patients, clinical staff, and external partners in a clear and professional manner.
- Experience in Administrative Assistance, including document preparation, data entry, and support for clinic leadership.
- Customer Service skills to provide respectful, responsive support to patients and visitors.
- Organization Skills to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain orderly office systems.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and scheduling tools).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information, documentation, and financial transactions.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinic setting is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team and maintain confidentiality in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Completion of secondary education; post-secondary training in office administration or a related field is an advantage.
