The AP Manager should have the background and skills to support all aspects of the AP process and will be responsible for the deliverables of the team and will report to the Director of Accounts Payable. This role support sites across the entire USA and may require augmented hours in order to provide support to all of our sites.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Invoice Audit and Processing Teams, including training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Partner with foreign 3rd party contracting firm and other AP teams to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and resolution and manage SLA metrics
Lead month end subledger close processes and partner with Accounting and IT as needed to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Manage the daily/ weekly AP payment process and identify opportunities for efficiency
Lead the T&E expense reimbursement process to ensure compliance with T&E policy
Manage the corporate credit card program through reporting, analysis and strict enforcement of policy
Design an implement T&E audit program to provide insights to management and senior leadership about T&E spend and areas of risk
Develop, implement, and maintain AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements
Support the annual 1099 reporting process ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with government regulation
Provide support to annual and periodic audit processes
Partner with internal audit to define and ensure compliance with internal control procedures
Set department goals and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
Prepare and review reports on AP metrics and provide appropriate feedback to team members and management about performance
Train AP team members on new processes, new technology and new policies
Coach AP team members to grown core competencies in alignment with organizational values
Partner with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Finance, Operations) to streamline processes and resolve issues.
Assist management and other team members with projects as needed
Qualification/Education Requirements:
10+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, with 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools including Excel, SharePoint, outlook, etc.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience using Oracle required; strongly prefer Oracle Fusion experience-AP, T&E and Reporting
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and suppliers
Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor a diverse team
The base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 – $120,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
