Kubbar International is a leading international trading company specializing in veterinary products with operations across Egypt, KSA, UAE, Oman, and Kuwait. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our financial team in Muscat.
Job Overview
We are looking for a professional General Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic business decisions through comprehensive financial analysis.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting
Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Develop comprehensive financial reports and performance analyses
Create accurate budget forecasts and financial projections
Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential opportunities
Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records
Accounting Operations Accounts Payable
Process and record vendor invoices with high accuracy
Manage vendor payment schedules and records
Verify invoice authenticity and ensure timely payments
Maintain systematic vendor financial documentation
Accounts Receivable
Generate and track customer invoices
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments
Reconcile customer accounts
Maintain accurate receivables records
Bank Reconciliation
Conduct regular bank statement reconciliations
Identify and resolve financial discrepancies
Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
Maintain comprehensive financial transaction logs
Qualifications and Requirements
Can start immediately
Oman residency is a must
Prior experience working as an accountant in Oman
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) strongly preferred
1-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a trading or international business
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
Expert-level Excel skills
Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
