Job Description: Laboratory Sales Representative
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Sales Representative to drive sales of our high-complexity molecular testing services. This role combines account management with business development, calling on multiple healthcare sectors including long-term care facilities and physician clinics. This position offers strong growth potential, effective training, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for laboratory services, with a focus on molecular pathogen identification and reflex antibiotic resistance gene testing.
- Identify new business opportunities and maximize sales potential within assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in long-term care facilities, physician offices and contract research organizations.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to educate prospective clients on Chronetyx's laboratory services and diagnostic solutions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Prepare regular sales reports, target list and forecasts for management review.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related science/medical field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 2+ years of proven sales experience in long-term care, physician offices, or related healthcare sectors strongly preferred.
- Pharmaceutical sales experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in laboratory services sales is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicare, and commercial payer reimbursement mechanisms.
- Strong entrepreneurial drive with a proven ability to develop new business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
